"Lovely guys" they called themselves, unaware of the fact that 'lovely' as an adjective wouldn't do justice to the awesome kids they were!
'Cool dude' Kamesh
The 'charm kid' Manikandan
The 'style champ' Nivel
'Silent observer' Vijay Shanthi
'Ever Smiling' Jo
The 'strong kid' Preethi
The 'stunner boy' Praveen
The 'very outgoing' Shalini
'Calm and composed' Jeyachitra
were some of the adorable, well-mannered kids I met yesterday.
'Joy of giving' - it was rightly named! I gave them my time & attention; they gave me soul-felt contentment.

Very thoughtful indeed. But, I have a question/thought. Most of us, walk into their lives just for a day and walk out. Shouldn't we be forming trustworthy relationships with these kids? If I was a kid, I would rather have a few elder sisters/brothers who remember my name than lots of them who drop by once in a while. Just my thoughts !
I have met many people genuinely wanting to visit NGOs and spend time with the people who deserve love and attention the most.
But then, they stop with thinking! They are laid back and fail to figure out how it can be executed. (Not talking about the people who don't have volunteering interests here)
However, "One step starts every journey" and this is my first step.
Thanks for commenting.
